LES MOTS ESSENTIELS
I will start posting 2-3 words here every week, that we in Grade 2 find are valuable words for the kids to be able to use. These are high frequency words that tend to cause a few problems for the children. Have them use the words in a sentence or write a few sentences using each for some extra practice. Remember that students should be able to read each of these words independently and spell them correctly during their daily writing, and during our dictées at the end of every review week. Continue practising the words we have already studied (moi, toi, quand, quel/quelle, jamais, toujours, aujourd'hui, hier, demain, aussi, qui, comment, pourquoi, beaucoup, parce que, J'ai, J'aime, quoi, est-ce que, c'est, très, et (and), est (is), je/tu veux, il/ell veux, avant ensuite, au dessus (above), en dessous (below), à côté (beside)j'avais, j'étais, sa (his/hers), ses (his/hers) combien, le mien/la mienne, avant après, important)
